We are gathering the people we love for a few unforgettable days in the Sicilian sun.
Three nights, one estate all to ourselves, a symbolic ceremony in the garden and a lot of good wine. This page is your guide to the whole weekend, and it will grow as the days get closer.
How the days unfold
A few days together rather than a single evening. Come for as much of it as you can. Times are a surprise for now, this is the shape of it.
Arrival and welcome. Settle in, find your room, and an easy first evening together as everyone lands on the mountain.
A day at the estate. Slow mornings, the pool, the olive groves and a glass of Etna wine. Time to do very little, together.
The celebration. A symbolic ceremony in the garden, then aperitivo, lunch, music and cake, long into the Sicilian evening.
Until next time. Breakfast together and slow departures, with rooms free by late morning. No rush to say goodbye.
From Catania to the black earth
Fly into Catania Fontanarossa (CTA). The estate sits above Zafferana Etnea on the eastern slope of Etna, about 28 km from the airport, a drive of roughly 35 minutes that climbs gently through vineyards and lava stone.
The easiest arrival, door to door from the airport. We can arrange a car for you, just send us your flight and we will handle the rest.
About 35 minutes up the mountain, and worth it if you want to wander Etna, the wine roads and the coast on your own time. There is parking at the estate.
Taxis run from the airport in about 35 minutes, roughly [ €150 to €190 ], so sharing with other guests is the smart move.

A few notes before you pack
Small things that make the weekend smoother. Anything not covered here, just ask us.
[ dress code to confirm ]. Think elegant but easy, and remember you will be on garden and stone underfoot, so bring kind shoes.
Days are warm, but the estate sits at altitude and evenings cool down more than by the sea. A light layer for after dark is a good idea.
Taormina, the baroque streets of Catania, the Etna wine roads and the sea are all close. Come a few days early and make the most of it.
Euros, and cards are widely accepted. A little Italian is always welcome, but English goes a long way here.
